Lake Jesup Wilderness Area
The Lake Jesup Wilderness Area spans approximately 490 acres and was purchased during the restoration of the lake to preserve significant habitats. In this wilderness area, visitors can walk, mountain bike, or ride their horses. The trails at this location cross floodplain marshes and hydric hammocks where trail users might see bald eagles, the Florida box turtles, and American alligators.
