Bookertown Park

Open 8 a.m.– Sunset Located in the historic Bookertown neighborhood of Sanford, a community named in honor of Booker T. Washington and long central to local African American heritage, this 4-acre neighborhood park offers both active and passive recreational opportunities. The park is dotted with mature oaks and open green space and includes amenities such as a playground, pavilion with barbecue grills, lighted basketball court, and baseball field.
