Black Bear Wilderness Area

Open Sunrise to Sunset. Black Bear Wilderness Area spans approximately 1,600 acres in Northwest Seminole County and features a variety wetland habitat within the floodplain of the St. Johns River. This wilderness area is home to unique wildlife such as the white-tailed deer, swallow-tailed kite and the Florida black bear.
