Manatee County Central Library

The Manatee County Public Library System was named the Florida Library Association's 2016 Library of the Year and is a past two-time Innovation winner. The system has six locations around Manatee County and Anna Maria Island. The library system offers a wide range of educational and technological resources and programs and a wide array of digital e-books, e-audio and movies. One of the most unique things about the library's collections is the Library of Things, which includes telescopes, fishing poles, cake pans, musical instruments and even museum visits!
